Metal detector and its uses

A metal detector, as the name suggests, is used to detect traces of metal. It is a portable electronic device, which has the capability of penetrating into the ground magnetically and detects even traces of metal.

The usage of metal detector however varies from person to person and is not always used for the purpose of exploring and finding new metals, or existing ones. Some people even use it in a way to fulfill their hobbies like coin shooting, relic hunting, gold nugget hunting, and sometimes even underwater treasure hunting. However, be it time pass or professional work, metal detectors have a lot to offer.

There are some metal detectors which can even discriminate between different metals, which ease of the uncertainty over further plans. If the user finds that the discovery is not worth the time and money, the same can be aborted at initial stages itself.
