nullAn SD card is a memory card used in digital cameras, be it a Nikon, Canon, Sony or any digital camera make used in the market. When one accidentally deletes photos, or formats the memory card, they are not quite erased but are stored as a kind of zipped file that can be extracted thanks to data recovery. It is advised that one does not try to format the card again or the data could be lost forever.

One should not use it for image storage until recovery is done and proper formatting is done. Data recovery software includes Norton Recovery, Digital Photo Rescue from Graphic Soft, Flashfind Recovery from Pantera Soft, Flobo Recovery, Windows Card Recovery, and many other recovery software that can be downloaded free as a trial or for full usage. One can search for ‘recovery software’ on search engines and a listing will be made available.
