Refilling used Ink Cartridges

Replacing ink cartridges can be very expensive and this is why you need to learn how to refill them. The first thing you need to do is remove your empty cartridge and look for the tiny breather hole that is found at the upper part of the cartridge. This hole is usually found near the label. Once you have located the hole, use a needle to make it wider.

To refill the cartridge, you also will use a refill kit. This kit usually has a syringe that you use to get the ink into the cartridge. Make sure the syringe touches the bottom of the cartridge when you are pushing the ink in. This should be carried out slowly so that air bubbles do not form. The air bubbles can interfere with the quality of the prints you get. Once you have filled the cartridge, return it to the printer.
