The series of tablet computers that have been designed by the Apple Inc can be termed as ipads. It can be used as platform that supports the audio and visual media in which movies, apps, books, music, periodicals, web contents maintain their functions. The operating system of this device is known as ios and in this device you can get only those features that are approved by the Apple inc.
Similar to iphone, in ipad also you can get the multi touch option and here the ipad has major difference with the earlier tablet computers where there were physical keyboards.
Both the cellular and Wi-Fi models are available for ipad and it can connect the data with different networks like 2G or 3G. Apple launched their ipad in 2010 and only in the first day it sold more than 250000 pieces. Till date Apple has sold over 14 millions of ipads worldwide.
